Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Interior Designer role based in Indore. The Interior Designer will develop design concepts, plan interior spaces, and prepare detailed drawings and documentation using BIM tools. Day-to-day responsibilities include meeting with clients to understand requirements, creating layouts and 3D models, selecting materials and finishes, and coordinating FF&E (furniture, fixtures, and equipment). The role involves collaborating with architects, engineers, and contractors to ensure design intent is maintained during execution, reviewing construction drawings, and supporting site visits when needed. The Interior Designer is expected to balance functionality, aesthetics, and technical feasibility while adhering to project timelines and quality standards.
Qualifications
Candidates should possess strong skills in Interior Design and Architecture, with the ability to translate client needs into coherent design concepts.
Candidates should possess skills in Space Planning to optimize layouts for functionality, circulation, and user experience.
Candidates should possess skills in Construction Drawings, including preparation of detailed plans, sections, and elevations aligned with BIM workflows.
Candidates should possess skills in FF&E selection and specification, ensuring appropriate furniture, fixtures, and equipment choices that meet design and budget requirements.
Proficiency in BIM and relevant design software (e.g., Revit, AutoCAD, SketchUp, or similar) is highly beneficial.
A degree or diploma in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field is preferred.
Strong visual communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams.
Good communication and presentation skills, with the ability to interact professionally with clients and project stakeholders.
