Work as a School Bus Aide while completing CDL training.
Earn $16.00 per hour during monitor hours worked.

After You Earn Your CDL
Driver Pay Rates
Van Driver: $26.00 per hour
School Bus Driver: $28.50 per hour

Position Overview

Key Responsibilities
Safely transport passengers according to established schedules and routes
Help maintain a safe and positive environment for passengers
Communicate effectively with parents, guardians, school personnel, and coworkers
Complete required reports and documentation accurately
Follow all company, state, and federal safety regulations

Successful candidates are compassionate, dependable, and committed to creating a safe, respectful, and positive experience for every passenger. Training will be provided to help you understand student needs and perform your role with confidence and professionalism.
Qualifications
Application Requirements
Complete employment application and new hire paperwork
Pass all required background screenings
Documentation
Provide valid identification
Provide three professional references
Submit residential history as required
Pre Employment Requirements
Pass a company paid physical examination
Pass a drug and alcohol screening
Successfully complete required background investigations
Physical Requirements
Climb and descend bus steps
Move quickly from a seated position
Operate emergency exits when necessary
Safely perform passenger evacuation procedures, including moving up to 125 pounds during emergency drills
