Assist with evaluating site conditions, groundwater chemistry, contaminant behavior, and in situ treatment approaches.
Review and interpret advanced performance monitoring data, including compound-specific isotope analysis (CSIA), molecular biological tools (MBTs), and contaminant mass flux measurements.
Prepare technical reports summarizing monitoring results, evaluating evidence of contaminant degradation, and assessing remediation effectiveness.
Help design monitoring programs that use multiple lines of evidence to evaluate treatment performance and support remediation decisions.
Assist with technical proposals, project scopes, cost estimates, and client presentations.
Work directly with environmental consultants and Tersus' technical team to address project challenges and develop practical solutions.
Participate in technical training, professional conferences, and occasional project site visits.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in environmental, chemical, civil, or a related engineering discipline.
Recent graduates and early-career professionals are encouraged to apply.
Understanding of environmental chemistry, groundwater hydrology, contaminant fate and transport, or groundwater remediation.
Strong analytical, technical writing, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to evaluate technical data and communicate findings clearly.
Interest in developing expertise in in situ remediation technologies and advanced remediation performance monitoring.
Ability to work independently while collaborating with a small technical team.
Experience with environmental consulting, groundwater remediation, laboratory analysis, or environmental research through internships, academic projects, or previous employment is desirable but not required.
Familiarity with CSIA, MBTs, or contaminant mass flux measurements is beneficial, but training will be provided.
Professional Development
This position offers the opportunity to work directly with experienced groundwater remediation professionals and develop specialized expertise in remediation technologies and advanced performance monitoring.
The role is intended to grow with the individual, with increasing responsibility for technical analysis, project management, client communication, and business development.
