Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced Java Developer with strong AWS cloud expertise and Python scripting/development skills to join in Hyderabad. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience developing scalable backend applications using Java, deploying and managing cloud-based solutions on AWS, and using Python for automation, scripting, and application development.
This is a Contract-to-Hire (C2H) opportunity for a professional interested in a long-term career opportunity.
Key Responsibilities
Design, develop, test, and maintain scalable backend applications using Java and Spring Boot.
Develop and integrate RESTful APIs and microservices.
Build, deploy, and maintain cloud-native applications on Amazon Web Services (AWS).
Work with AWS services such as EC2, S3, Lambda, IAM, CloudWatch, and API Gateway.
Use Python for automation, scripting, data processing, and backend integration tasks.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and deliver technical solutions.
Troubleshoot application issues, optimize performance, and ensure application reliability.
Implement secure coding practices and follow software development best practices.
Participate in code reviews, unit testing, integration testing, and CI/CD processes.
Work with databases such as PostgreSQL, MySQL, Oracle, or DynamoDB.
Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives involving application performance, automation, and cloud infrastructure.
Required Skills
Strong hands-on experience in Core Java, Java 8+, and Spring Boot.
Experience developing REST APIs and microservices architecture.
Hands-on experience with AWS cloud services and application deployment.
Proficiency in Python scripting and development.
Experience with SQL and relational or NoSQL databases.
Knowledge of Git, Maven/Gradle, and CI/CD pipelines.
Understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC), debugging, and testing.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
Familiarity with Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or similar CI/CD tools.
Knowledge of Infrastructure as Code (Terraform or AWS CloudFormation).
Experience with messaging technologies such as Kafka or Amazon SQS/SNS.
Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
Experience monitoring and troubleshooting applications in AWS environments.
