Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Laboratory Technician role based at Galaxy Path Lab in Sitamarhi. The Laboratory Technician will perform routine and specialized laboratory tests, including sample collection, preparation, and analysis according to established protocols. Responsibilities include handling and maintaining laboratory equipment, labeling and storing specimens accurately, and recording results in laboratory information systems. The role involves following quality control procedures, adhering to safety and hygiene standards, and assisting in troubleshooting basic technical issues. The Laboratory Technician will collaborate with other lab staff and healthcare professionals to ensure timely reporting and support smooth daily operations.
Qualifications
Strong laboratory skills and experience working in a clinical or diagnostic laboratory setting.
Ability to operate, maintain, and perform basic troubleshooting on laboratory equipment.
Knowledge of quality control procedures and commitment to accurate, reliable testing.
Well-developed analytical skills for interpreting test results and identifying inconsistencies.
Experience or training as a Laboratory Technician, with understanding of standard lab protocols.
Attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
Diploma or degree in Medical Laboratory Technology or a related field from a recognized institution.
Familiarity with laboratory safety guidelines and infection control practices.
Ability to work collaboratively in a team and communicate clearly with colleagues and clinicians.
