Role Description The strategist / growth driver will be responsible for designing and implementing strategies that expand the reach, impact, and sustainability of Samaritan Academy for Global Migrants. This full-time, hybrid role is based in Thiruvananthapuram, with a mix of on-site collaboration and some work-from-home flexibility. Day-to-day responsibilities include analyzing needs and opportunities within migrant communities, defining growth priorities, and developing program, partnership, and outreach plans. The person in this role will identify and cultivate strategic partnerships, support fundraising and resource mobilization efforts, and collaborate with internal teams to align operations with long-term goals. The role also involves monitoring performance metrics, preparing reports, and continuously refining approaches based on data, feedback, and changing conditions.
Qualifications
Demonstrated ability in strategic planning, program development, and growth or expansion initiatives in a social impact, education, or community-focused setting.
Experience in stakeholder engagement, partnership building, and relationship management with NGOs, community groups, government agencies, or international organizations.
Skills in research, data analysis, and reporting to inform decisions, track progress, and evaluate outcomes.
Strong communication skills, including clear written and verbal communication, presentation abilities, and capacity to adapt messaging for diverse audiences.
Background or strong interest in migration, education, social development, or related fields, with sensitivity to culturally diverse and vulnerable populations.
Proven ability to work both independently and collaboratively, manage multiple priorities, and deliver results in a dynamic, mission-driven environment.
Bachelor’s degree in social sciences, education, public policy, management, or a related field; advanced studies or relevant certifications are an advantage.
Comfort using digital tools for collaboration, project management, and communication; familiarity with basic data and productivity software.
Willingness to be primarily based in Thiruvananthapuram and to engage in field visits, community interactions, and on-site meetings as needed.
