Java AWS developer

Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Java AWS Developer role based in Hyderabad. The developer will design, develop, and maintain Java-based applications and services deployed on AWS, ensuring performance, reliability, and security. Day-to-day responsibilities include implementing new features, troubleshooting and resolving technical issues, optimizing application and infrastructure configurations, and collaborating with cross-functional teams such as QA, DevOps, and product management. The role involves writing clean and testable code, integrating with databases and other services, monitoring application performance, and participating in code reviews and technical discussions. The developer will also help refine architectural decisions, contribute to best practices, and support deployment and release activities.
Qualifications
Candidates should possess strong Software Development skills, including Java programming, RESTful services, and object-oriented design.
Candidates should possess Infrastructure skills, including experience with deployment pipelines, monitoring tools, and configuration management.
Candidates should possess Cloud Computing skills, with hands-on experience in AWS services such as EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, and IAM.
Candidates should possess Linux skills, including command-line usage, basic scripting, and system troubleshooting.
Candidates should possess Databases skills, including relational database design, SQL, and performance optimization.
Relevant qualifications include a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
Additional beneficial skills include familiarity with microservices architecture, CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI), containerization (Docker, Kubernetes), and version control (Git).
Strong problem-solving abilities, attention to detail, effective communication, and the ability to work collaboratively in an on-site team environment are essential.
