Web Developer

Role Description The part-time Web Developer role is a remote position focused on maintaining and enhancing the platform that serves healthcare professionals seeking international opportunities. Day-to-day tasks include developing, testing, and optimizing web features on both the front end and back end to improve user experience and site performance. The role involves implementing responsive web designs, integrating new functionality, troubleshooting technical issues, and ensuring site security and reliability. The Web Developer will collaborate with the team to support content updates, improve navigation, and ensure that job listings and informational resources are easy to access and use.
Qualifications
Strong front-end development skills, including proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and responsive Web Design.
Experience in back-end web development and Programming, using relevant frameworks and databases to build and maintain server-side functionality.
Solid understanding of overall Web Development principles, including performance optimization, cross-browser compatibility, and basic SEO best practices.
Experience working with content management systems (CMS) and integrating third-party tools or APIs.
Ability to collaborate in a remote environment, manage part-time workloads effectively, and communicate clearly with non-technical stakeholders.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
Prior experience developing platforms for job boards, communities, or healthcare-related services is an advantage.
