Atlas Africa Policy Research Insights (AAPRI) is seeking a qualified and experienced Gender Equality and Social Inclusion (GESI) Expert to support a short-term Baseline Study on Youth Participation in Agriculture in Ethiopia, focusing on the Oromia Region and Sheger City Administration.

🔹 Key Responsibilities
Integrate gender equality and social inclusion considerations into the study methodology, tools and analysis.
Ensure meaningful participation of young women, persons with disabilities and other underserved groups.
Support inclusive data collection, gender-responsive analysis and reporting.
Provide actionable recommendations to strengthen gender equality and youth inclusion in agricultural value chains.
🔹 Qualifications and Experience
Master's degree in Gender Studies, Development Studies, Sociology, Social Sciences, Human Rights or a related field.
Minimum of 7 years of relevant professional experience in GESI, gender analysis, disability inclusion or gender-responsive research.
Demonstrated experience in baseline studies, evaluations and inclusive research methodologies.
Familiarity with Ethiopia's agricultural sector and GESI dynamics in Oromia Region is highly desirable.
Must be an Ethiopian national with fluency in English; proficiency in relevant local languages is desirable.
