Position Description:
We are looking for a Data / AI Analyst with strong expertise in Snowflake, advanced SQL, Python, data analysis, statistics, and Power BI. The ideal candidate will have working knowledge of Snowpark, ETL/ELT processes, data modelling, machine learning, and Generative AI technologies, including LLMs, RAG, vector search, and Snowflake Cortex AI. The role involves analyzing complex datasets, developing meaningful insights, supporting data transformation and modelling activities, and exploring AI-driven solutions to enhance analytics and business decision-making.
Your future duties and responsibilities
Analyze complex datasets using advanced SQL and Python to identify trends, patterns, and actionable insights.
Work with Snowflake to query, process, and analyze structured data.
Develop interactive dashboards and reports using Power BI to support business decision-making.
Apply statistical methods and analytical techniques to interpret data and identify business opportunities.
Support data transformation and processing activities using ETL/ELT workflows.
Work with data modelling concepts to organize and structure data for analytics.
Utilize Snowpark for data processing and analytical workloads within Snowflake.
Support machine learning initiatives and data-driven analytical solutions.
Explore and support Generative AI use cases involving LLMs and Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG).
Work with vector search concepts and Snowflake Cortex AI for AI-powered data analysis and retrieval.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into analytical solutions.
Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and reliability across reporting and analytical workflows.
Required Qualifications To Be Successful In This Role
Must-Have Skills:
Strong expertise in Snowflake.
Advanced SQL skills for data querying, transformation, and analysis.
Proficiency in Python for data analysis and processing.
Strong understanding of data analysis and statistical methods.
Hands-on experience with Power BI for reporting and dashboard development.
Good-to-Have Skills:
Working knowledge of Snowpark.
Understanding of ETL/ELT processes and data modelling.
Familiarity with machine learning concepts and applications.
Knowledge of Generative AI and Large Language Models (LLMs).
Understanding of Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG).
Familiarity with vector search concepts.
Knowledge of Snowflake Cortex AI and its AI-powered data capabilities.
