Role Description This is a remote internship role for a Back End Developer. Interns will support the design, development, and maintenance of server-side applications and APIs, ensuring performance, scalability, and security. Day-to-day responsibilities include writing clean, testable code, integrating databases and third-party services, troubleshooting technical issues, and collaborating with front-end developers to deliver cohesive solutions. The role also involves participating in code reviews, documenting technical work, and learning best practices in modern software development and deployment. Interns are expected to work closely with mentors, follow agile workflows, and contribute to real client and internal projects.
Qualifications
Candidates should possess skills in Back-End Web Development and Software Development.
Candidates should possess skills in Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) and general Programming.
Candidates should possess skills in Front-End Development to collaborate effectively across the stack.
Familiarity with at least one modern programming language (e.g., Java, Python, JavaScript/Node.js, Go) is beneficial.
Basic knowledge of databases (SQL/NoSQL), APIs, and version control systems such as Git is preferred.
Strong problem-solving ability, attention to detail, and willingness to learn in a fast-paced environment are important.
Excellent communication skills and the ability to work remotely in a collaborative team setting are required.
Enrollment in or completion of a degree or certification program in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field is a plus.
