What You’ll Do:
As an Underwriting Intern, you'll get hands-on experience and valuable exposure to a Property insurance products. You’ll be guided by industry experts, helping evaluate risk, craft policies, and make strategic decisions.
Key Responsibilities:
Risk Assessment and Analysis: Assist in evaluating financial statements, credit reports, and industry trends to assess the risk profiles of potential clients.
Underwriting Assistance: Support underwriting for new and renewal business in Financial Lines insurance, helping determine coverage terms and conditions.
Data-Driven Decisions: Dive into reports, analyze industry data, and learn how financial insights influence underwriting strategies.
Collaborate with Experts: Work closely with teams in claims, legal, and finance to develop a well-rounded understanding of underwriting challenges and solutions.
Continuous Learning: Stay up-to-date with industry trends and gain the knowledge needed to build a successful career in underwriting.

Who We’re Looking For:
Pursuing a degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or a related field.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a passion for understanding financial data.
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
Eagerness to learn and tackle challenges head-on.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
Program Overview/Benefits:
Program Dates: June 7, 2027- August 13, 2027
3 Day Induction: June 7 - June 9, 2027 (location, Warren, NJ)
Hybrid Schedule: Minimum 4 days in the office per week
Compensation: Hourly rate of $25.00
