Role Description This full-time Automation Project Engineer role is a hybrid position based in Navi Mumbai, with the flexibility for some work from home. The Automation Project Engineer will design, develop, and implement automation and control systems, including PLC-based solutions, for industrial projects. Day-to-day responsibilities include creating control logic, configuring hardware and software, conducting system testing, and troubleshooting electrical and automation issues at client sites and remotely. The role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams, preparing technical documentation, supporting project planning and execution, and ensuring that solutions meet safety, quality, and performance standards. The engineer will also interact with clients to understand requirements, provide technical support, and contribute to continuous improvement of existing systems.
Qualifications
Candidates should possess strong Process Control and Troubleshooting skills for industrial automation environments.
Candidates should possess core Electrical Engineering skills related to control panels, wiring, instrumentation, and power systems.
Candidates should possess Robotics and motion control skills for integrating and maintaining automated equipment.
Candidates should possess expertise in Programmable Logic Controller (PLC) programming, configuration, and commissioning.
Relevant skills and qualifications include experience with SCADA/HMI systems, industrial communication protocols, and safety standards.
Ability to interpret engineering drawings, prepare technical documentation, and manage multiple projects effectively.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, with the ability to work in multidisciplinary teams.
Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Electronics, Instrumentation, or related engineering field; prior automation project experience is an advantage.
