Work you'll do
We are seeking an AI/ML Contractor to develop and deliver machine learning and artificial intelligence solutions that support project teams’ analytical and automation needs. The contractor will build, evaluate, deploy, and monitor models and AI-driven applications aligned with project objectives.
Key Responsibilities
Develop, train, and implement machine learning and AI models.
Apply natural language processing, computer vision, predictive analytics, or other techniques based on project needs.
Preprocess data, select relevant features, and evaluate model performance.
Deploy AI-driven applications and monitor their performance in production.
Document methodologies and implementation outcomes.
Collaborate with technical team members to align solutions with project requirements.
Required Qualifications
3–5 years of experience developing or implementing machine learning and AI solutions.
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, data science, engineering, mathematics, statistics, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
Experience with data preprocessing, feature engineering or selection, and model evaluation.
Proficiency in Python and common machine learning libraries and frameworks.
Experience working with structured or unstructured data and writing SQL queries.
Ability to communicate technical methods and findings to project team members.
Preferred Qualifications
3–5 years of experience with Databricks, AWS, and/or MLOps practices.
Experience with distributed data processing tools such as Apache Spark.
Familiarity with deploying and monitoring models in production, including model lifecycle management and CI/CD practices.
Experience with NLP, computer vision, or predictive analytics.
Master’s degree in a related field.
The expected pay range for this contract assignment is $70 - $75 per hour. The exact pay rate will vary based on skills, experience, and location and will be determined by the third-party whose employees provide services to Deloitte.
