Lead Software Engineer

"About the Role
We are looking for a hands-on, client-facing .NET Technical Lead to drive the development of a critical enterprise ASP.NET MVC application, along with its ongoing enhancement, support, and maintenance.
In this role, your primary focus will be hands-on development: designing and building new features, writing clean, production-grade code, and guiding our engineering team through code reviews on GitHub. You will
also serve as the primary technical bridge to our customers, handling requirements gathering, estimation,and service delivery while optimizing our L2/L3 support and Jira workflows.
Key Responsibilities
Hands-on Development: Design, develop, and deliver complex new features, enhancements, and change
requests using C#, ASP.NET MVC, and SQL Server.
Support Leadership: Lead L2/L3 production support, conduct Root Cause Analysis (RCA), and deliver
rapid fixes within strict SLAs. Establish and manage support processes (triage, prioritization, escalation)
in Jira.
Client Collaboration: Work directly with customers for requirements gathering, solution estimation,
status reporting, and service reviews.
Reporting Management: Develop, maintain, troubleshoot, and optimize Crystal Reports and their .NET
integration.
Cloud & Deployment: Manage basic builds, deployments, and environment setups on AWS (EC2, S3,
IAM, CloudWatch).
Team Mentorship: Lead, mentor, and upskill engineering team members, enforcing coding standards
through rigorous GitHub code reviews.

Core .NET: C#, ASP.NET Framework 4.8, ASP.NET MVC 5, Web API, Entity Framework, LINQ
IDE: Visual Studio 2019 / 2022
Reporting: Crystal Reports (design, formulas, sub-reports, parameters, .NET integration)
Database: SQL Server (T-SQL, stored procedures, views, and performance tuning)
Cloud (AWS Basics): EC2, S3, IAM, CloudWatch, and basic deployment pipelines
Source Control & Tools: GitHub, Jira, Confluence
Front-End: HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, jQuery
Methodology: Agile/Scrum, ITIL foundations (incident, problem, change management)
