BMC Helix Global Services Delivery (GSD) is responsible for delivering BMC Helix solutions to customers worldwide. The organization provides opportunities to solve complex business and operational challenges through a consultative approach, manage current BMC technologies, and help customers maximize value from their investments.
AMS Consultant - The Application Managed Services Consultant will provide consultative operational services, including technical post-implementation/go-live services for enterprise software solutions for BMC Helix’s worldwide customers. The Consultant must be able to multitask in a fast-paced environment since they will be working on incidents, problems, releases, patching, upgrades, and integrations simultaneously.

This is an on-site role at the Navi Mumbai location.
Provide L2/L3 operational support on BMC Discovery as per agreed SLAs.
Responsible for leading and/or participating in small teams comprised of BMC Helix, partner and customer resources at client sites to deliver required outcomes and produce additional business with BMC Helix clients.
Maintain BMC Helix Discovery platform availability as per the agreed availability commitment
Understands how to apply technology to improve the operational effectiveness or efficiency of specific functions or applications.
Customise and configure BMC Helix Discovery capabilities in a complex Cluster Env.
Recommend & plan upgrades/patches and roll out of new features
Integrate BMC Helix products to each other and third-party applications.
Improve the quality and efficiency of the solutions delivered to BMC Helix clients as a means to improve BMC Helix business margins.
Accountable to client for achieving specific outcomes by delivering services as directed by the project manager and technical lead.
Ability to transfer knowledge of the BMC Helix approach to business service management.
To ensure you’re set up for success, you will bring the following skillset & experience:
Strong hands-on experience in BMC Helix Discovery (ADDM) administration, configuration, integrations, and customizations.
Experience installing and maintaining Discovery in distributed/clustered environments.
Deep expertise in Discovery–CMDB integrations, application modeling, and TPL development.
Proficient in TPL scripting, Unix, Perl, SQL, and Discovery query/reporting APIs.
6–9 years of relevant experience in BMC Helix Discovery/CMDB.
Background in Managed Services / Consulting environments.
Solid understanding of cloud technologies, networking, and database fundamentals.
Strong analytical, communication, and organizational skills; able to work independently or in teams.
Customer-facing experience with ability to coordinate with vendors and internal groups.
Willing to work in shifts, weekends, and provide on‑call support.
Engineering/Computer Science bachelor’s degree required.
