Compensation: $24-$30 per hour (DOE)
Schedule: Full-Time, Monday - Thursday 10:00AM -6:30PM & Friday 9:00AM-5:30PM.

VPI Compounding Pharmacy is hiring a hands-on Maintenance Engineer to help keep our building, equipment, and facility systems operating safely and reliably. If you enjoy troubleshooting mechanical problems, repairing equipment, and keeping facilities running smoothly, we encourage you to apply. This position combines general building maintenance with opportunities to learn specialized pharmacy equipment and cleanroom systems.
An engineering degree and prior pharmacy experience are not required. We are looking for strong mechanical aptitude, practical troubleshooting skills, and a willingness to learn. Experience in building maintenance, equipment repair, manufacturing, HVAC, or similar work can translate well to this position.
Key Responsibilities
Equipment & Preventative Maintenance
Perform preventative maintenance and basic repairs on facility and pharmacy support equipment.
Troubleshoot common mechanical, equipment, and facility issues and help minimize operational downtime.
Support maintenance of equipment such as refrigerators, freezers, pumps, autoclaves, BSCs, LAFWs, and other systems as trained.
