What you’ll do
Design, implement, and manage go-to-market sales plans
Lead, coach and develop a field sales team of Business Development and Territory Managers selling Clover SaaS and commerce solutions to restaurants.
Own team performance against revenue, new-logo, software attachment, activity, pipeline and conversion objectives.
Establish clear territory plans, prospecting standards and weekly activity expectations for cold calls, door-to-door visits, discovery meetings, demonstrations, proposals and closes.
Conduct regular field ride-along, call coaching, deal reviews, and joint-sale efforts to improve prospecting, discovery, restaurant workflow assessment, solution positioning, objection handling and closing skills.
Ensure each representative builds and maintains a healthy, self-generated pipeline without reliance on company-provided leads.
Use local market intelligence to identify priority restaurant segments, trade areas, competitive displacement opportunities and referral relationships.
Maintain disciplined CRM usage and accurate opportunity stages, next steps, close dates and forecasts.
Run weekly one-on-ones, pipeline reviews, performance scorecards and team meetings with clear actions and follow-through.
Recruit, onboard, train and retain high-performing field sellers who are comfortable prospecting in person and working independently in defined territories.
Address performance gaps promptly through focused coaching, documented action plans and consistent accountability.
Partner with sales operations, marketing, product, implementation and customer support to improve the merchant experience and remove barriers to growth.
Represent Clover professionally at restaurant industry events, local business associations and community networking opportunities.

4+ years of experience in using Salesforce or comparable CRM platforms for activity tracking, pipeline inspection and forecast reporting.
4+ years of equivalent combination of educational background, related experience, and/or military experience.
Experience that would be great to have:
Experience selling to independent and multi-location restaurant operators in the Greater Toronto Area.
Experience with restaurant operations workflows, table service, quick service or hospitality management environments.
Experience with sales performance scorecards, one-on-one coaching cadences and documented performance improvement plans.
Experience collaborating with implementation, product and customer support teams in a high-growth SaaS environment.
