Vice President of Project Management

Role Description The Vice President of Project Management is a full-time, remote leadership role responsible for overseeing complex validation and consulting projects for medical device clients. This role manages the project management function, including project planning, execution, monitoring, and delivery across multiple client engagements. The Vice President will lead and mentor project and program managers, establish best practices, and ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget. Day-to-day responsibilities include coordinating cross-functional teams, aligning project goals with client requirements, managing risk, and reporting on project performance to senior leadership and stakeholders. The role also involves optimizing resource allocation, refining project management methodologies, and supporting business development with project estimates, timelines, and strategic input.
Qualifications
Ability to apply strong Analytical Skills to assess project performance, identify risks, and drive data-informed decisions.
Proficiency in Project Management and Program Management to lead multiple complex initiatives and ensure cohesive execution.
Experience in Project Planning and Budgeting to develop realistic timelines, resource plans, and financial forecasts.
Demonstrated leadership in managing remote and cross-functional teams, with a collaborative and inclusive management style.
Extensive experience in medical device, healthcare, or regulated industries, with familiarity in validation or quality-related projects.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including stakeholder engagement and executive-level reporting.
Bachelor’s degree in engineering, life sciences, business, or a related field; advanced degree or relevant certifications (e.g., PMP, PgMP) are a plus.
Proven track record of strategic thinking, change management, and continuous improvement in project management practices.
