This is a hands-on leadership role—you’ll own the monthly close, financial statement accuracy, and core general ledger processes across all locations and legal entities, while leading a team of three accounting professionals. 💰 Salary: $2,000 USD/month (Non-negotiable)
⏰ Working Hours: Full-time (Monday–Friday, 9:00 AM–5:00 PM PST)

What you’ll do:
Own the end-to-end monthly close across seven sites, including journal entries, open-item resolution, and on-time reporting packages.
Prepare and review location-level and consolidated financial statements.
Prepare and review complex balance sheet reconciliations (cash, revenue, payroll liabilities, accruals, prepaids, fixed assets, and intercompany balances).
Apply U.S. GAAP and propose solutions to material accounting issues independently.
Oversee GL and accounts payable processes, expense coding, and vendor payments, while maintaining effective controls.
Directly manage three accounting professionals—assigning priorities, reviewing work, and holding the team accountable for deliverables.
Develop close checklists, SOPs, and internal controls to improve workflows across QuickBooks, WellSky, Paylocity, and payment platforms.
What we’re looking for:
7+ years of progressive accounting experience including month-end close, U.S. GAAP, and multi-entity accounting (Strictly Required).
3+ years of experience managing accounting staff with direct supervision and close ownership (Strictly Required).
High proficiency in QuickBooks and Advanced Excel/Google Sheets.
Strong technical experience with accruals, prepaids, fixed assets, intercompany accounting, and multi-entity reporting.
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
Excellent written and verbal English communication skills for cross-functional collaboration.
Bonus: CPA or advanced accounting credential; experience with WellSky or Paylocity; background in home care, healthcare, staffing, or growing multi-location service industries.
