Role Description The Equity Dealer is a full-time, on-site role based in Kochi, responsible for executing equity trades on behalf of clients and ensuring timely and accurate order placement. This role involves monitoring stock market movements, tracking portfolio performance, and providing clients with updates on their equity positions. The Equity Dealer will interpret market data, follow research recommendations, and coordinate with the advisory and back-office teams to ensure seamless trade settlement and compliance with internal policies and regulatory requirements. Daily tasks include managing trading terminals, handling client inquiries related to equities, and maintaining detailed records of transactions and client interactions. The role also requires adherence to risk management guidelines and consistent communication with clients to support their investment objectives.
Qualifications
Candidates should possess strong knowledge of Stock Market operations and Trading processes.
Candidates should possess expertise in Equities, including order execution and portfolio monitoring.
Candidates should possess a solid foundation in Finance to understand market dynamics and client risk profiles.
Candidates should possess skills in Investments, including asset allocation and basic analysis of investment products.
Relevant academic background in finance, economics, business, or a related field.
Prior experience as an equity dealer or in a broking, trading, or investment-related role is preferred.
Strong numerical aptitude, attention to detail, and ability to work accurately in a fast-paced environment.
Effective communication skills and a client-focused approach to service delivery.
