Collection Manager

Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Collection Manager role based in Lucknow ,Prayagraj, Fatehpur, Kannauj. The Collection Manager will oversee the collections process for assigned portfolios, ensuring timely recovery of dues while maintaining a customer-centric and compliant approach. Responsibilities include planning and monitoring daily collection activities, guiding and supervising collection executives, and analyzing portfolio performance and risk indicators. The role involves coordinating with branches and cross-functional teams, resolving customer queries and disputes, and recommending corrective actions to improve collection efficiency and reduce delinquencies.
Qualifications
Strong skills in collections management, portfolio monitoring, and recovery strategies, with the ability to handle diverse customer segments.
Experience in credit and risk assessment, with sound understanding of NBFC/retail lending processes and regulatory compliance.
Proficiency in data analysis, reporting, and use of collection tools or MIS systems to track performance and drive decisions.
Effective communication, negotiation, and conflict-resolution skills to engage with customers and internal stakeholders.
Proven team leadership capabilities, including mentoring field staff, driving performance, and fostering ethical collection practices.
Bachelor’s degree in finance, business, commerce, or a related field; relevant experience in collections within BFSI or NBFC is preferred.
Strong local market knowledge of Kakori and nearby regions, with willingness to travel within the assigned geography as needed.
Ability to work under targets, maintain accuracy and integrity, and uphold customer dignity and organizational values.
