Sales Development Representative

ABOUT THE ROLE
Join a sales team at an early-stage AI recruiting startup and help introduce its hiring services to founders and hiring leaders. You will focus on client acquisition, turning outbound conversations into qualified meetings for the sales team.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
- Make daily outbound calls to founders and hiring leaders, explain the value of the recruiting services, and book meetings.
- Reach prospects through email and LinkedIn sequences, respond promptly to interest, and adjust messages with relevant context.
- Follow up consistently, handle common objections professionally, and respect clear decisions not to proceed.
- Qualify companies by learning about their hiring needs, timing, and decision-makers.
- Use prospect lists and AI tools to support efficient outreach, while prioritizing direct conversations.
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
- Experience in a customer-facing role with a high daily volume of conversations. This can include SDR or BDR work, appointment setting, inside sales, recruiting or staffing sales, call-center work, door-to-door sales, or retail sales. Early-career candidates with customer-facing experience are welcome.
- Recent experience in sales or another high-volume customer-facing role, and interest in an individual contributor position.
- Outbound calling experience and familiarity with CRMs, sales dialers, or outreach sequences are helpful.
- Experience selling to founders, hiring managers, or small-business owners, and familiarity with AI tools or automation in sales workflows, are a plus.
- Currently based in the United States and located in, or willing to relocate to, the Salt Lake City area.

LOCATION
Hybrid role based in Salt Lake City, Utah. In-person onboarding takes place in Salt Lake City.
