About Asha Health

About the Role
We're looking for a Staff Software Engineer to join our currently (and hopefully always) small engineering team.

At Asha, engineering is the #1 lever. We can’t keep up with sales, and we have contracted ARR piling up. Unlike most of the healthcare market, engineering (not sales/gtm) is the biggest lever to pull.
This might be you if:
You're a builder at your core: a strong engineer who can understand users, make product decisions, and ship without needing a PM to define every step.
You know you're good—and want significantly more ownership than your current role gives you.
You're excited by healthcare, rapid career growth, or ideally both.
Requirements
Graduated from top engineering university (ex: IIT).
3+ years of industry experience after graduation.
Strong experience developing AI agents and LLM-powered tools.
Strong understanding of how to make AI applications performant and reliable (fine tuning, RLHF, distillation, etc).
Exceptional at building full-stack web applications.
Great at designing and developing best-in-class user experiences.
Able to take initiative and figure things out without being told what to do.
Understanding of US healthcare is a bonus.
