Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Senior Civil Engineer role based in Canada. The Senior Civil Engineer will lead and review civil engineering designs, ensuring compliance with standards, codes, and client requirements. Responsibilities include planning and coordinating project activities, preparing design calculations and drawings, and overseeing stormwater management and other infrastructure components. The role involves guiding junior engineers, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams, attending site visits, and resolving technical issues during design and execution. The Senior Civil Engineer will also support project scheduling, quality assurance, and communication with clients and external stakeholders.
Qualifications
Strong expertise in Civil Engineering Design and Civil Engineering fundamentals, with the ability to apply standards, codes, and best practices.
Experience leading and mentoring Civil Engineers, including coordinating design tasks and reviewing technical work.
Proficiency in Planning for civil infrastructure projects, including scope definition, scheduling, and resource coordination.
Hands-on experience in Stormwater Management, drainage design, and related hydrology/hydraulics work.
Bachelor’s degree or higher in Civil Engineering from an accredited institution.
Proficiency with relevant design and drafting software (e.g., AutoCAD, Civil 3D or equivalent) and MS Office tools.
Demonstrated experience managing medium to large-scale civil projects, preferably in urban or infrastructure sectors.
Knowledge of local regulations, codes, and approval processes in India is an advantage.
