Biomedical Engineer | Remote

Position: PhysioNet Competitor (Biomedical Signal Processing & ML)
Type: Contract
Compensation: $60 - $120/hour
Location: Global, fully remote
Commitment: 10 40 hours/week
Role Responsibilities
Create rigorous problems involving biomedical signals and time-series data
Develop reference solutions using Python, MATLAB, or similar tools
Work on tasks like signal preprocessing and filtering
Design experiments for feature extraction and representation learning
Evaluate models for classification and forecasting accuracy
Ensure reproducibility and rigorous analysis of results
Explain methodologies and technical decisions during project execution
Requirements
Experience in biomedical signal processing and machine learning
Knowledge of physiological signals such as ECG, EEG, or EMG
Proficiency in Python, MATLAB, or equivalent scientific environments
Strong background in developing and validating analytical methods
Familiarity with noise reduction techniques for real-world data
Ability to present technical contributions and experiment results
Participation in competitions like PhysioNet is a plus
