We are looking for an experienced Senior Server Engineer to manage and optimize enterprise server, virtualization, and storage infrastructure, ensuring high availability, performance, and reliability.
Key Responsibilities:
🔹 Manage VMware ESXi, vCenter, and vSphere environments.
🔹 Administer Linux servers (RHEL, CentOS, Ubuntu), including patching, troubleshooting, and performance tuning.
🔹 Manage enterprise storage platforms such as HPE 3PAR, Primera, and Hitachi VSP.
🔹 Implement and support high availability, backup, and disaster recovery solutions.'
🔹 Lead root cause analysis (RCA) and resolve complex server and storage issues.
🔹 Handle infrastructure upgrades, migrations, capacity planning, and performance optimization.
🔹 Maintain technical documentation, SOPs, and monitoring processes.
🔹 Collaborate with application, network, and security teams while mentoring junior engineers.
Required Skills:
✅ Strong hands-on experience with VMware ESXi, vCenter, vSphere, vSAN, vMotion, HA, and DRS.
✅ Expertise in Linux server administration and scripting using Bash, Python, or Ansible.
✅ Experience with HPE 3PAR/Primera and Hitachi VSP storage systems.
✅ Knowledge of SAN/NAS, zoning, multipathing, and Brocade/Cisco MDS.
✅ Familiarity with Veeam, Commvault, NetBackup, and disaster recovery.
✅ Strong troubleshooting, documentation, and capacity planning skills.
✅ Comfortable working in a 24×7 mission-critical environment, including possible on-call support.
Education & Certifications:
🎓 Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field.
⭐ VMware VCP or higher preferred. RHCE, HPE/Hitachi storage certifications, cloud, and ITIL exposure are an advantage.
