Investment Director

Role Description The Investment Director role at United OPS is a part-time, hybrid position based in Dubai, United Arab Emirates, with flexibility for some work from home. The person in this role will oversee investment strategy development and execution, aligning capital deployment with United OPS’s growth objectives and client-focused initiatives. Day-to-day responsibilities include evaluating investment opportunities, leading financial and risk analyses, managing existing investment portfolios, and preparing clear recommendations and reports for senior leadership. The Investment Director will collaborate with internal stakeholders and external partners to structure deals, optimize returns, and support strategic initiatives such as growth, transformation, and technology implementation. The role also involves monitoring market trends, maintaining governance and compliance standards, and contributing to long-term financial planning.
Qualifications
Candidates should possess strong skills in Investment Management and managing diverse Investments.
Candidates should possess solid Analytical Skills to evaluate opportunities, assess risks, and interpret financial data.
Candidates should possess expertise in Investment Strategies and portfolio optimization.
Candidates should possess a sound foundation in Finance, including financial modeling, valuation, and performance measurement.
Advanced degree in finance, economics, business, or a related field is preferred; professional certifications (e.g., CFA, CAIA) are an advantage.
Proven experience in a senior investment or director-level role, ideally within consulting, private equity, or corporate investment environments.
Ability to work effectively in a hybrid setting in Dubai, collaborating across functions and cultures while managing part-time commitments.
Strong communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills, with a focus on ethical, inclusive, and results-driven decision-making.
