Head of Business Operations

Role Overview
BLUORNG is looking for a hands-on, numbers-driven Business Operations Lead to build and streamline the company's backend operations. The person will establish systems, processes, dashboards, and automation to improve efficiency, visibility, and execution across functions. You'll report directly to the Chief of Staff / Founders.

Key Responsibilities
- *Process & Systems Building:* Design and implement SOPs, workflows, approval mechanisms, and internal systems from scratch.
- *Backend Operations:* Oversee inventory flows, order fulfilment, inventory planning, vendor coordination, payments, reconciliations, CRM, and operational workflows.
- *Technology & Automation:* Identify manual bottlenecks and implement tools, integrations, and automation to improve efficiency and reduce errors.
- *MIS & Analytics:* Build dashboards and track KPIs across inventory, sales, fulfilment, costs, working capital, and operational efficiency.
- *Cross-functional Execution:* Coordinate with finance, retail, warehouse, e-commerce, and technology teams to drive projects to completion.
- *Problem-solving & Ownership:* Identify root causes of recurring issues, implement corrective actions, and ensure processes run without constant management intervention.
Requirements
- 5–10 years of experience in business operations, central operations, or process excellence, preferably in D2C, retail, e-commerce, or consumer brands.
- Strong numerical and analytical skills; proficient in Excel/Google Sheets and MIS reporting.
- Experience with Shopify, POS, ERP/OMS systems, inventory management, and finance workflows is preferred.
- Demonstrated ability to build processes from scratch, implement automation, and drive measurable operational improvements.
- Strong ownership, structured problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills.
