Client is a US-based B2B marketplace that connects brand owners with US-based manufacturers.
We are hiring a full-time, fully remote Content Writer to write authoritative, well-researched B2B blog content for our SEO program.
About the Role
Your job is to write. You will turn a keyword brief into an article that reads like it came from someone who knows the industry, with every claim accurate and sourced. Our readers are brand owners and founders looking to make their products in the US, so the writing has to be practical, credible and authoritative.
You will report to the Head of Marketing and work closely with the marketing team. This is a full-time, fully remote role for a senior writer with 6 or more years of experience writing B2B content. This is an AI-first writing role. We expect AI to be a core part of how you research, outline and draft, so that you can publish a high volume of articles each month without lowering the standard on accuracy or authority. Speed matters here, but only with facts we can stand behind.
Key Responsibilities
Write long-form blog posts from keyword briefs, covering the topic more thoroughly and credibly than the pages already ranking.
Use AI as a core part of your workflow for research, outlining, drafting and editing, and publish a consistently high volume of articles every month.
Write the on-page copy for every post: the title tag, meta description, H1 and H2 headings, and a clear heading structure that follows the brief.
Research each topic in depth using primary sources, industry data, and conversations with our team and partners.
Fact-check every claim, including every statistic, quote and source an AI tool gives you, and cite your sources so each article can be trusted by a founder making a real sourcing decision.
Add original insight, real examples and clear takeaways, not rewritten versions of what is already online.
Build and maintain your own prompts, templates and review checklists, so each article gets faster to produce without getting weaker.
Update and expand older posts when the facts change or the brief is revised.
What We're Looking For
6+ years of professional writing experience, with a strong B2B portfolio you can show us.
Daily, hands-on use of AI tools such as Claude or ChatGPT in your writing process, and the ability to walk us through your workflow step by step.
A track record of producing a high volume of B2B content with AI-assisted workflows, without a drop in quality.
A reliable method for checking AI output: verifying claims against primary sources, catching invented statistics and quotes, and removing generic AI phrasing.
Writing that is authoritative, precise and free of filler, in excellent English.
Proven ability to research an unfamiliar industry quickly and get the facts right, with sources to back them up.
Experience writing for founders, operators or business buyers, not general consumers.
The judgement to tell a reliable source from a weak one, and to challenge a brief when the facts do not support it.
Working knowledge of on-page SEO copy: title tags and meta descriptions written to length, H1 and H2 headings used properly, and a target keyword worked in naturally.
Comfort following a keyword brief and meeting an agreed publishing schedule without close supervision.
Preferred
Background in manufacturing, supply chain, sourcing, procurement or product-based businesses, which is the strongest plus.
Experience in ecommerce, marketplace, consumer products or startup and founder audiences.
Experience as a journalist, analyst or researcher.
A basic understanding of how SEO briefs work, so you can write to them without needing hand-holding.
