Key Responsibilities
Perform accurate transcription of audio and video content, ensuring high-quality output.
Create and edit captions and subtitles for various media formats.
Ensure compliance with industry standards for transcription and captioning.
Collaborate with team members to meet project deadlines and maintain quality control.
Utilize automated speech recognition (ASR) tools effectively while ensuring accuracy in final outputs.
Core Skills
Transcription & Captioning:
Proven experience in transcription, captioning, subtitling, or court reporting.
Attention to Detail:
Strong attention to detail to ensure accuracy and consistency in all work.
Technical Proficiency:
Familiarity with transcription software and ASR tools.
Time Management:
Ability to manage multiple projects and meet tight deadlines.
Experience & Qualifications
Educational Background:
Bachelor's degree in a relevant field is preferred.
Professional Experience:
2+ years of experience in transcription, captioning, subtitling, or court reporting in media or transcription services.
Industry Knowledge:
Understanding of media production processes and standards for transcription and captioning.
