Looking for 3-6 years of experience. Not a Senior position or a Lead position, but long-term contract to hire UX/UI Designer.
Looking for East Coast or Central Region, no Pacific or Mountain Time.
Strong Figma experience is required.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Design responsive, high-fidelity mockups, wireframes, user-centered experiences for websites, landing pages, forms, and other digital products.
Establish clear navigation, content hierarchy, interface behavior, and calls to action.
Design accessible experiences that align with applicable accessibility standards and inclusive-design practices.
Support the designs and development of our unified design system components, patterns, templates, specifications, and usage guidance.
Document component variants, interaction states, responsive behavior, content requirements, and accessibility expectations.
Collaborate with developers to translate designs into scalable, reusable components.
Prepare organized design files, assets, and specifications for development handoff.
Review implemented experiences for consistency, responsiveness, accessibility, and alignment with approved designs.
Use stakeholder input, usability findings, analytics, and implementation feedback to improve digital experiences.
Create supporting email templates, paid-media creative, banners, campaign graphics, and related digital assets.
QUALIFICATIONS
Experience designing responsive websites, landing pages, or digital products.
Portfolio demonstrating user flows, wireframes, prototypes, high-fidelity designs, and completed digital experiences.
Experience working with design systems, component libraries, or reusable interface patterns.
Proficiency with contemporary interface-design and prototyping tools.
Experience preparing designs and specifications for developer handoff.
Understanding of responsive design, accessibility standards, information architecture, and interaction design principles.
Strong communication, collaboration, organization, and problem-solving skills.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Experience supporting enterprise, multi-brand, or multi-site environments.
Experience designing websites that use components for enterprise content-management systems.
Familiarity with HTML and CSS.
Experience collaborating with developers, content, digital marketers, and platform teams.
MUST HAVE KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND/OR ABILITIES:
Advanced proficiency in Figma, including component libraries, design systems, prototyping, and developer handoff workflows.
Ability to deliver effective design solutions across diverse touchpoints for multiple business lines
Agile mindset and ability to adapt, shift priorities, and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
Self-motivated and able to work independently as well as collaboratively
Ability to conduct research and perform image library searches, including basic photo retouching and color correction
Strong visual and verbal communication skills
UX/UI design experience
Moderate to advanced knowledge of PowerPoint, Word and Excel
