About The Role
Our Audit team is critical to our business. They work closely with Risk and Compliance to create internal risk management and compliance processes, and make sure they’re running efficiently.
We're looking for an Internal Auditor to oversee the development and execution of internal audits focused on FinCrime topics, including financial crime risk management, KYC, ongoing due diligence, transaction monitoring, and sanctions screening.

What You'll Be Doing
Partnering with Head of FinCrime Audit to design audit programmes under internal audit policies, regulatory requirements, and the Standards for the Professional Practice of Internal Auditing
Looking for ways to make the best use of data as part of our audit process, including to inform our understanding of risks, test controls, and provide relevant insights to the business
Providing input and assisting in the identification of relevant risks and regulatory requirements for incorporation as part of our audit scope
Interacting with staff to obtain an understanding of relevant risks, controls, and processes
Communicating and discussing findings with management
Developing audit reports that identify deficiencies and underlying root causes, providing recommendations to mitigate/address deficiencies while adding value to Revolut
Following up on reviews of deficiencies noted during audits
Conducting research and completing assigned training requirements necessary to maintain relevance
Monitoring audit progress (against expected timelines, scope, etc.) and managing projects to completion, escalating promptly where required
Supporting UK audits across financial services, operational risk, and technology
What You'll Need
5+ years of experience in an audit-related role within a regulated financial services environment
An undergraduate or master's degree in a quantitative discipline
A solid understanding of the current regulatory environment, including EU Money Laundering Directives, FCA requirements, UK Money Laundering Regulations, and JMLSG Guidance
Proficiency in working with and interpreting data
A desire to learn, grow, and have impact quickly as part of an expanding team
Critical thinking and problem-solving skills
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Proficiency with relevant technology and tools
Solid organisational and project management skills
Impeccable attention to detail
Nice to have
Experience in a fast-paced environment with a focus on execution
Proficiency in SQL, SAS, Python, RACA, or CIA
