Role Description This full-time remote Technical Writer role is responsible for creating clear, accurate, and user-friendly documentation for Superfan.ng’s products and features. Day-to-day tasks include drafting and maintaining product guides, how-to articles, FAQs, and technical reference materials for both internal and external audiences. The Technical Writer will collaborate with product, engineering, design, and content teams to understand requirements, document workflows, and ensure consistency across all technical materials. The role also involves organizing documentation structures, establishing style and terminology guidelines, and continuously improving existing manuals based on user feedback and product updates. The successful candidate will help make Superfan.ng’s platform easy to understand and adopt for learners, partners, and team members.
Qualifications
Candidates should possess strong skills in Technical Writing and Technical Communication to explain complex product features in clear, accessible language.
Candidates should possess experience in Technical Documentation and general Documentation, including structuring and maintaining knowledge bases and product resources.
Candidates should possess the ability to create and update Manuals and user guides that support both technical and non-technical audiences.
Strong written communication skills and excellent command of English, with attention to detail, clarity, and consistency.
Experience working with product and engineering teams, including the ability to interpret technical concepts and user requirements.
Familiarity with documentation tools (such as Markdown, wiki platforms, or help authoring tools) and basic understanding of digital products or edtech platforms.
Demonstrated ability to work independently in a remote environment, manage multiple projects, and meet deadlines.
Interest in African languages and cultures, or prior experience creating content for culturally focused or educational products, is a plus.
