Local Political Analysts, Iowa. Elections Forecasting & Political Risk. Remote AI Project
We are looking for political analysts with first-hand knowledge of Iowa races to build expert forecasting and research data used to evaluate and improve AI models. Each task asks you to reason from a fixed evidence cutoff, with no hindsight, and document the judgment a strong analyst would have made at that moment.
What You'll Do
Write point-in-time political reports and forecasts from a stated evidence cutoff
Make and document judgments about polling, win probabilities and market-implied odds
Explain the mechanism behind an event's expected political and market impact
Review AI-generated analyses and grade them against your own standard
Who Can Apply
Hands-on experience analysing current or recent Senate, governor or statewide races in Iowa, for example as a university political scientist, state or regional pollster, campaign or party analytics staff, or political-risk analyst
A record of live judgments about polling, win probabilities or odds, not only retrospective commentary
Strong polling literacy and causal event analysis
Typically 8+ years of direct experience, or equivalent performance
Pay and Contract
$100–200 per hour, as published on the official listing
Contractor role, fully remote
Open to candidates in the United States and Canada, as stated on the official listing
