Setlog is a camera-first social app that helps people share everyday moments, stay connected with friends, and turn shared experiences into memories. The app has millions of daily users across East Asia, with its largest communities in Japan and South Korea. As Setlog expands into the US market, the team is looking for a Product Engineer who can use AI tools to build quickly while carefully refining product details and creating delightful user experiences.
In this role, you will build and improve core iOS and Android experiences, work closely with the founder on product direction, and help shape an early-stage consumer product.
Key Responsibilities
Build and improve core product experiences across iOS and Android.
Identify and fix bugs, improving reliability across key user flows.
Work directly with the founder on product direction, feature development, and implementation.
Develop features that improve user retention, delight, and everyday usefulness.
Translate user feedback into product improvements and better product decisions.
Use AI tools to accelerate development while manually refining interfaces and product details.
Maintain high standards for product quality, usability, and application reliability.
Take ownership of product challenges and contribute to decisions in a fast-moving environment.
Required Qualifications
Strong iOS and Android engineering skills.
A strong focus on product quality and user experience.
Ability to move quickly without degrading application quality or reliability.
Strong product instincts and the ability to contribute beyond implementation.
Comfort working in ambiguous environments with changing priorities.
Ability to work autonomously and take ownership of problems without highly detailed day-to-day direction.
Interest in helping shape an early-stage consumer product.
