Role Description
The IT Officer / Digital Services Officer / Information Systems Officer is responsible for supporting information technology operations, maintaining digital systems, and ensuring the effective delivery of technology services across the organization. This role focuses on system administration, technical support, digital service improvement, and the secure management of information resources.
Key responsibilities include monitoring IT infrastructure, maintaining computer systems, configuring software applications, and assisting with the installation and maintenance of hardware and network components. The officer helps identify technical issues, troubleshoot system errors, and coordinate solutions to minimize service interruptions and maintain operational efficiency.
The role involves supporting digital transformation initiatives, improving technology-based workflows, and helping implement digital tools that enhance productivity and service delivery. Responsibilities may include maintaining information systems, updating digital platforms, managing user accounts, documenting technical procedures, and ensuring that system configurations meet organizational requirements.

Qualifications
Degree or diploma in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, Digital Technology, or a related field.
Understanding of computer systems, software applications, networking fundamentals, and IT support procedures.
Familiarity with digital platforms, system administration, and information management tools.
Knowledge of cybersecurity principles, data protection, access controls, and IT security practices.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and common business software.
