Role Description The Advisor role at Shark Innovations Corporation is a part-time, remote position focused on providing strategic guidance and market insights to support the growth of GigShark.io and related initiatives. On a day-to-day basis, the Advisor will review business plans and product roadmaps, offer recommendations on platform enhancements, and help refine positioning in the freelancer and client marketplace. The role includes participating in virtual strategy sessions, advising on partnerships and go-to-market approaches, and sharing expertise on trends in the gig economy, AI applications, and digital marketplaces. The Advisor will collaborate with leadership and cross-functional teams, offering feedback on key decisions while maintaining flexibility in availability and workload.
Qualifications
Experience advising or leading in technology-driven businesses, digital platforms, or gig economy marketplaces.
Background in strategy, business development, or product management, with the ability to analyze market trends and competitive landscapes.
Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to articulate recommendations clearly to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Familiarity with AI-powered solutions, data-driven decision-making, or automation tools in digital work environments.
Demonstrated ability to work independently in a remote setting, manage time effectively, and contribute in a part-time advisory capacity.
Previous experience mentoring founders, advising startups, or working with freelancer-focused platforms is highly beneficial.
Bachelor’s degree in business, technology, or a related field; advanced degrees or equivalent practical experience are an advantage.
