Field Service Technician

Serviform America is growing, and we’re looking for a motivated, hands-on Field Service Technician to join our team! If you enjoy solving technical challenges, working with advanced machinery, and making a difference for customers, this could be a great opportunity.
Serviform America provides innovative, precision-engineered machinery proudly made in Italy to the die-making industry throughout North America. We pride ourselves on delivering exceptional technical support and building long-term customer relationships.
In this role, you’ll specialize in automated steel rule bending machines while expanding your expertise across our other equipment, including rubber processing and CNC milling machines.
Responsibilities
· Install, service, maintain, and troubleshoot industrial machinery at customer facilities.
· Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and automation-related issues, identifying root causes and implementing lasting solutions.
· Perform preventative maintenance, equipment adjustments, repairs, and upgrades.
· Support pre-installation planning and customer readiness.
· Train customers on machine operation and proper maintenance.
· Provide responsive technical support, both on-site and remotely.
· Collaborate with our internal service team and manufacturing partners in Italy to resolve technical challenges.
· Document service work and coordinate with operations for scheduling, parts, and travel arrangements.
· Build strong customer relationships through professional, dependable, customer-focused service.
Qualifications
· 3+ years of experience in field service, industrial equipment maintenance, automation, or a related technical field preferred.
· Strong mechanical aptitude and electrical troubleshooting skills.
· Ability to read and interpret technical schematics and wiring diagrams.
· Familiarity with motors, sensors, industrial controls, pneumatics, or CNC equipment is a plus.
· Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently in the field.
· Excellent communication skills and a commitment to customer satisfaction.
· Self-motivated, dependable, and eager to continue learning new technology.
· Ability and desire to travel extensively, typically three weeks per month.
· Valid driver’s license and passport.

Compensation and Benefits
Salary: $80,000–$95,000 annually | Job Type: Full-time | Work Location: On the road
