The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience working as a Business Analyst on U.S. healthcare IT projects, with a strong understanding of healthcare business processes, industry regulations, and IT systems.
The trainer will be responsible for delivering interactive, real-world training sessions that help participants develop the knowledge, analytical skills, and practical experience required to pursue Healthcare Business Analyst opportunities in the United States.

3. Job Duties and Responsibilities
The Healthcare Business Analyst Trainer will be responsible for:
Delivering live, instructor-led online training sessions focused on Business Analysis within the U.S. healthcare industry.
Explaining key concepts related to the U.S. healthcare ecosystem, including Healthcare Payers, Providers, Claims Processing, Eligibility Verification, Enrollment, Billing, and Revenue Cycle Management.
Providing practical exposure to healthcare industry standards and regulations, including HIPAA, EDI X12 transactions, HL7, FHIR, ICD-10, CPT, and HCPCS, as applicable to Business Analyst responsibilities.
Teaching core Business Analysis concepts, including Requirements Elicitation, Stakeholder Analysis, Root Cause Analysis, Gap Analysis, Business Process Modeling, Functional Requirements, Use Cases, and User Stories.
Explaining how Business Analysts work within Agile, Scrum, and Waterfall project delivery environments.
Demonstrating the use of industry-standard tools such as Jira, Confluence, Microsoft Visio, Microsoft Excel, and other relevant Business Analysis tools.
Designing and delivering practical assignments, case studies, and simulated projects based on real-world U.S. healthcare business scenarios.
Guiding trainees through the preparation of Business Analysis deliverables, including Process Models, Requirements Documents, User Stories, Acceptance Criteria, and other project artifacts.
Conducting interactive discussions, knowledge assessments, and assignment reviews to evaluate trainee progress.
Mentoring trainees on real-world Healthcare Business Analyst responsibilities, stakeholder interactions, project expectations, and workplace communication.
Supporting trainees with technical interview preparation, mock interviews, and project-based interview questions relevant to the U.S. healthcare industry.
Collaborating with the Skillcubator team to develop, review, and continuously improve training materials, assignments, and course content.
4. Job Type: Contractual
This is a contract-based, remote training opportunity suitable for experienced Healthcare Business Analysts, Senior Business Analysts, Business Systems Analysts, or Healthcare IT Consultants who are passionate about teaching and mentoring aspiring professionals.
Preferred Qualifications:
Minimum 5 years of professional experience in Business Analysis, preferably including 3 years in U.S. healthcare IT projects.
Strong understanding of U.S. healthcare payer and/or provider operations.
Hands-on experience in requirements gathering, process modeling, stakeholder management, and Agile/Waterfall methodologies.
Familiarity with healthcare systems, data exchanges, and applicable industry regulations.
Excellent communication, presentation, and mentoring skills.
Previous corporate training, coaching, or teaching experience is preferred.
Ability to conduct live online sessions aligned with U.S. time zones.
Engagement: Contractual / Part-Time
