Your Impact
As the Finance Manager, you will support the Senior Manager, Finance, in overseeing statutory and management reporting for the Australian entities.
This is a hands-on and technically focused role responsible for ensuring accuracy compliance, and efficiency in reporting, audit, and accounting activities - including support for asset transactions, funding structures, and process improvements. This is a 7-month fixed term contract covering a parental leave.
What You'll Do
Support the month-end close process for Australia entities, ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting.
Prepare and review monthly reporting deliverables, variance analyses, and supporting schedules for Group consolidation.
Ensure reporting compliance with Group accounting policies and Australian Accounting Standards (AASB).
Collaborate with regional and Group finance teams to resolve reporting or intercompany issues.
Prepare statutory financial statements and liaise with external auditors to ensure smooth completion of year-end audits.
Coordinate and respond to audit requests, providing explanations and supporting documentation.
Assist the Senior Manager in performing accounting analysis and assessment for transactions executed in Australia, including acquisitions, divestments, restructures, and funding arrangements.
