About the role

Description supplied by the original job listing.

About the Opportunity
Every so often, a role comes along that puts you at the center of an organization's next chapter. This is one of them. New Leaders is creating its first-ever Chief Growth Officer, and we want a bold leader to step in and drive growth for an organization with a mission that matters.
You'll join the Executive Team and drive our revenue diversification strategy across three areas. The first is student acquisition for pipeline programs. The second is B2B partnerships for Professional Learning Services. The third is a new generation of K–12 products. You'll own earned revenue, the engine that powers our impact, and work hand in hand with fellow executives to make it run. You'll set clear lanes with the Chief Development Officer, who leads philanthropic fundraising. You'll also team up with the Chief Communications Officer on demand generation. You'll lead the campaigns and funnel strategy, and the CCO will own brand and creative. Because the role is brand new, you'll help establish clear lanes and strong partnerships with your fellow executives from day one.
What You'll Do
Set the vision for growth. Design a multi-year growth roadmap with the CEO and Board that balances student acquisition with Professional Learning Services and new K–12 products. Co-own the Revenue Dashboard with the CEO and CDO, and revenue strategy with the CFO. Pilot new ideas with B2B partners alongside the CPO and CTO, then take the winners to market.
Open doors and close deals. Break into new markets and build partnerships with universities, school systems, nonprofits, and mission-aligned organizations. Lead sales conversations, guide prospects from first hello to signed contract, and set pricing with the CFO and CEO. Be the face of New Leaders at the coalitions, conferences, and events where the work of education gets done.
Grow our learner community. Own the full journey from first inquiry to enrollment for degree and certification programs. Set ambitious targets with the CEO and CPO, and bring new opportunities to adult and underrepresented learners. Run data-driven campaigns on Salesforce and HubSpot, and work with the CCO and CPO to turn alumni into your best advocates.
Lead a team that wins together. Inspire the Growth & Revenue team with clear goals, real accountability, and room to grow. Track the KPIs that matter, share progress with the CEO, Executive Team, and Board, and champion equity, inclusion, and excellence in everything you do.
What You Bring
You believe every student deserves an excellent education, and you're ready to put your skills behind that belief. You've spent 14+ years leading growth in revenue, business development, strategic enrollment, or external relations, ideally in education or mission-driven organizations. You've built and scaled high-performing teams, grown enrollment or customer pipelines through data-driven campaigns, and landed 7- and 8-figure B2B contracts.
You're fluent in CRM, marketing automation, and analytics tools, and you've built revenue dashboards that give real-time visibility across multiple revenue streams. You thrive as one of several C-suite peers (CDO, CCO, CFO, CPO), and you know how to keep earned and philanthropic revenue distinct while partnering across both. You lead with integrity, empathy, and a bias for action. A bachelor's degree and the ability to travel are required.
Why This Role
Be the first. Step into a brand-new executive role and help launch a growth function for the organization.
Make it count. Your work will fuel programs that prepare leaders to serve students.
Lead at the top table. Join the Executive Team and help steer the organization's future.
