YOUR ROLE
We have an excellent opportunity to join us as a Senior Project Manager based in our Eagle Farm, Brisbane office. The purpose of this position is to lead and manage allocated bids and/or projects in the Land / Protected Vehicles business portfolio.
Duties will cover all aspects of Bid & Project Management including:
Leading and managing assembled bid/project teams to meet business objectives.
Ensuring the project objectives in relation to cost, time, safety and quality are exceeded.
Strategically leading the development of high quality and competitive bid offers.
Adherence to and improvement of the Thales Bids & Project Management Governance framework.
YOUR EXPERIENCE:
Degree qualified in business, engineering, project management or other suitable discipline.
Proven experience in Bid and Project Management activities at a senior level with multi-partners / major co-contractors.
Experience working with complex Work Breakdown Structure (WBS).
Ability to lead in an international environment in diverse cultures, multicultural and unstable arena concerning one or several stakeholders.
Proven and effective leadership skills with a high level of interpersonal and verbal communication skills as well as the ability to lead multi-disciplinary teams.
DESIRED EXPERIENCE
Experience in leading complex bids and projects across geographies and time zones.
Experience with Earned Value Management (EVM) techniques.
Experience with Defence ASDEFCON procurement.
