Role Description The Factory Manager will oversee day-to-day manufacturing operations at our on-site facility in Mumbai in a full-time capacity. Responsibilities include planning and managing production schedules, coordinating resources, and ensuring efficient workflow to meet output targets. The role involves monitoring quality standards, implementing process improvements, and maintaining compliance with safety and environmental regulations. The Factory Manager will supervise production teams, provide leadership and training, and ensure clear communication across departments. The position also requires tracking performance metrics, managing operational costs, and collaborating with senior management on strategic initiatives.
Qualifications
Candidates should possess strong skills in Production Planning and Production Management to effectively organize and control manufacturing activities.
Candidates should possess solid experience in Quality Control to uphold product specifications and consistent standards.
Candidates should possess capabilities in Operations Management and Manufacturing Operations to optimize processes, resources, and plant performance.
Relevant experience in chemical or resin manufacturing, preferably in powder coating or related industries.
Proven leadership skills with the ability to manage and develop factory teams in a fast-paced environment.
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with familiarity in using production data and KPIs for decision-making.
Knowledge of workplace safety regulations and best practices, with a commitment to safe operations.
Diploma or bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Production, or a related field; advanced qualifications in operations or industrial management are an advantage.
