As our Portfolio Planning and Delivery Manager, you'll lead the Roadside portfolio of initiatives, ensuring programs are prioritised, coordinated and successfully delivered into frontline operations. Combining people leadership with hands-on program delivery, you'll work across the business to drive operational readiness, manage change impacts and bring complex initiatives to life. This is a unique opportunity to influence strategic outcomes, lead a high-performing team and help shape the future of Roadside services.
What You'll Do
Lead Roadside's annual planning process, partnering with senior leaders to turn strategic priorities into a clear, prioritised and executable roadmap.
Manage a portfolio of initiatives, ensuring effective prioritisation, sequencing, dependency management and visibility of delivery impacts across the business.
Align stakeholders across Operations, Digital, Technology and Finance to support investment decisions, business case development and successful delivery outcomes.
Provide portfolio governance through reporting, risk management, decision-making forums and executive-level communications.
Lead complex business initiatives from concept through to implementation, ensuring solutions are practical, customer-focused and operationally effective.
Drive operational readiness activities, including testing, process readiness, stakeholder engagement and transition planning for new initiatives.
Build strong relationships with cross-functional teams and subject matter experts to deliver successful change and business outcomes.
Lead, coach and develop a small team, creating accountability, capability growth and a high-performance culture.
What You'll Bring
Experience leading portfolios, programs or large-scale business initiatives within complex operational environments.
Strong strategic planning and prioritisation skills, with the ability to balance competing demands and align stakeholders to business objectives.
Proven people leadership experience, with a track record of developing teams and delivering results through others.
Exceptional stakeholder engagement and communication skills, including the ability to influence and align senior leaders and cross-functional teams.
Experience managing governance processes, reporting, risks and dependencies across multiple concurrent initiatives.
Strong commercial and delivery acumen, with experience supporting business case development, investment planning and decision-making.
The ability to assess change impacts, manage operational readiness and ensure successful implementation of business initiatives.
Exposure to service operations, contact centres, operational readiness, change management or service delivery environments will be highly regarded.
As part of our recruitment process, successful applicants will be required to complete pre-employment checks.
