Chief Strategy Officer

Role Description The Chief Strategy Officer (CSO) is a full-time remote role responsible for shaping and driving the long-term strategic direction of Action Event Services. This position oversees the development of comprehensive business strategies, monitors market trends in the events industry, and identifies opportunities for growth and diversification. The CSO collaborates closely with executive leadership to align strategic initiatives with financial targets, operational capabilities, and brand positioning. Daily responsibilities include leading strategic planning sessions, evaluating business performance metrics, guiding corporate development initiatives, and presenting recommendations to stakeholders. The CSO also supports cross-functional teams to ensure strategic projects are executed effectively and contribute to sustainable, scalable business outcomes.
Qualifications
Candidates should possess strong Business Planning and Strategic Planning skills, with experience developing and executing long-term growth strategies.
Candidates should possess advanced Analytical Skills and Finance competencies, including comfort with budgeting, forecasting, and performance analysis.
Candidates should possess Executive Management capabilities, including leadership experience, decision-making skills, and the ability to influence senior stakeholders.
Candidates should possess excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex ideas clearly to diverse audiences.
Relevant experience in event services, hospitality, or a related service industry is beneficial.
A bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or a related field is preferred; an advanced degree (MBA or equivalent) is an advantage.
Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a remote environment, manage multiple priorities, and collaborate across distributed teams.
