Company Description The Lifestyle Architects is a design practice based in Bangalore, India. Each project is built around clear concepts and storylines that reflect a client’s profession, personality, and brand identity. The team designs interactive spaces that evoke emotions and express a client’s unique signature style. The Lifestyle Architects also specializes in Vastu-aligned designs, offering culturally sensitive and context-aware solutions.
Role Description This is a full-time, Architect role based in Bengaluru. The Architect will be responsible for developing architectural concepts, preparing design drawings and 3D models, and translating client narratives into cohesive spatial experiences. Day-to-day tasks include meeting with clients, conducting site visits, preparing presentations, coordinating with consultants and vendors, and ensuring that designs align with brand, lifestyle, and Vastu principles where required.
Qualifications
Candidates should possess strong architectural design and concept development skills, with experience in creating narrative-led and lifestyle-focused spaces.
Candidates should possess proficiency in architectural drafting and visualization tools (e.g., AutoCAD, SketchUp, Lumion, D5, or similar), as well as basic 3D rendering and presentation skills.
Candidates should possess knowledge of building codes, materials, construction processes, and detailing, with the ability to coordinate effectively with engineers and contractors.
Candidates should possess skills in client communication, including the ability to translate client needs into clear design directions.
Candidates should possess an understanding or interest in Vastu principles, spatial psychology, and brand or image-focused design approaches.
Candidates should possess strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to handle multiple projects and meet deadlines in a studio environment.
A professional degree in Architecture (B.Arch or equivalent) from an accredited institution is preferred; relevant studio or industry experience in residential, commercial, or lifestyle projects is an advantage.
Interest in interdisciplinary design (e.g., fashion, branding, image consulting) and familiarity with the Bengaluru design and construction ecosystem is beneficial.
