Role Description This is a full-time remote role for an OTM (Oracle Transportation Management) Consultant. The OTM Consultant will work closely with clients and internal teams to design, configure, and implement OTM solutions that meet complex transportation and logistics requirements. Day-to-day responsibilities include gathering and analyzing business requirements, configuring OTM modules, creating and maintaining process documentation, and supporting integration with other enterprise systems. The consultant will perform system testing, troubleshoot functional and technical issues, and provide end-user training and ongoing support. The role also involves collaborating with cross-functional stakeholders, recommending process improvements, and ensuring that project deliverables are completed on time and in alignment with client expectations.
Qualifications
Strong knowledge of Oracle Transportation Management (OTM), including configuration of orders, shipments, planning, execution, and settlement.
Experience in transportation, logistics, or supply chain management, with the ability to translate business processes into system solutions.
Familiarity with system integrations (e.g., ERP, WMS, TMS) and basic understanding of data mapping, interfaces, and troubleshooting.
Proficiency in analyzing requirements, preparing functional specifications, and performing functional testing and validation.
Effective communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work with remote teams and client stakeholders.
Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a project environment.
Experience working in consulting or project-based roles is beneficial, including participation in full implementation lifecycles.
Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Supply Chain, Business, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
Willingness to continuously learn and stay updated on OTM features, transportation industry trends, and best practices.
