VP of Operations

Role Description The VP of Operations is a part-time, remote role responsible for overseeing and optimizing the firm’s operational activities. This position will guide day-to-day operations, set performance metrics, and ensure alignment between operational processes and strategic business goals. The VP of Operations will collaborate with leadership to refine workflows, manage budgets and resources, and monitor financial and operational performance. Responsibilities include leading cross-functional projects, improving customer service processes, and implementing best practices for efficiency and quality. This role will also provide mentorship to team members, support change management initiatives, and regularly report on key operational and financial indicators to the executive team.
Qualifications
Candidates should possess strong Operations Management and Project Management skills to oversee daily activities and drive cross-functional initiatives.
Candidates should possess Strategic Planning and P&L Management skills to align operations with long-term goals and manage financial performance.
Candidates should possess Customer Service skills to design and maintain processes that support a positive client experience.
Candidates should possess excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills to collaborate effectively across the organization.
Candidates should possess analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to use data and metrics to inform decisions and measure results.
Relevant experience in a senior operations or leadership role, preferably with remote teams, and a track record of process improvement is beneficial.
A bachelor’s degree in Business, Operations Management, or a related field is preferred; advanced degrees or professional certifications in operations or project management are a plus.
