Role Description The Store Incharge role is a full-time, on-site position based in Kolkata. The Store Incharge will oversee daily store operations, including monitoring stock levels, organizing inventory, and ensuring that products are properly received, stored, and dispatched. This role involves supervising store staff, coordinating schedules, and maintaining cleanliness and orderliness within the store. The Store Incharge will handle customer inquiries, support customer service activities, and work to improve customer satisfaction through timely and accurate service. Additional responsibilities include implementing retail loss prevention practices, maintaining records, preparing reports on stock movement, and collaborating with management to meet store performance goals.
Qualifications
Candidates should possess strong Store Management skills, including inventory handling, stock control, and supervision of store operations.
Candidates should possess skills in Customer Satisfaction and Customer Service, with the ability to handle customer queries and support a positive customer experience.
Candidates should possess solid Communication skills to interact effectively with customers, colleagues, and management.
Candidates should possess knowledge of Retail Loss Prevention practices to help minimize shrinkage and maintain accurate stock records.
Relevant experience in retail or trading operations, preferably in a supervisory or in-charge role.
Ability to work on-site in Kolkata and manage full-time responsibilities with attention to detail and reliability.
Basic computer literacy and familiarity with inventory or point-of-sale systems would be beneficial.
A diploma or degree in commerce, business, or a related field is preferred but not mandatory if supported by strong relevant experience.
